What is European VC Radar?

European VC Radar is a public tracker of venture capital funding rounds across Europe, maintained by Goldfish — a European M&A and VC advisory firm. The database covers seed investments, Series A rounds, Series B raises, and growth-stage deals across more than 30 countries, tracking capital deployed from 2020 to the present.

Every deal in the dataset exceeds €500,000 in value. Data is sourced from press releases, regulatory filings, investor announcements, and verified news across 200+ European outlets, updated monthly. The current dataset covers 2,000+ funding rounds totalling over €184 billion in capital deployed.

Geographic coverage

Coverage spans the full European market: the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Poland, and more than 20 additional countries. Each deal is tagged with the company's home country, lead investor, funding stage, and primary sector.

Sectors tracked

The dataset covers all major sectors attracting venture capital in Europe: Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, HealthTech, CleanTech, SaaS, DeepTech, BioTech, Cybersecurity, Mobility, and Consumer technology. Filter by sector to identify where institutional capital is concentrating in any given quarter.

Methodology

Deals are included when the round size is confirmed or reliably estimated above €500K. Undisclosed-amount rounds are excluded unless a credible estimate is available. Capital amounts are converted to euros at approximate time-of-deal exchange rates. Data is updated quarterly with a 30–60 day lag for smaller deals.
